Born in Ecuador, Ernesto Cordero immigrated to New York in 1976 at the age of 17. After learning English while attending high school in Yonkers, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1978, where he served for four years. During his military service, he studied Business Administration and later transitioned into the janitorial industry in 1983. Starting as a Janitorial Supervisor, Ernesto gained hands-on expertise in cleaning processes across offices, medical facilities, hospitals, and schools. In 2003, he completed a managerial training program at the American Institute of Management, earning a certification in Effective Facilitation Techniques. Over the years, he has held leadership roles as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, and Business Development Manager, specializing in training new franchisees and ensuring quality control in facility maintenance. Ernesto is OSHA-certified since 2009 and highly skilled in hard floor and carpet cleaning equipment. A past president of the Ecuadorian Lions Club, he is dedicated to both his professional and community work. He is happily married to his wife, Laura.
